I'm a couple of months into regular gym visits, and I've noticed a passive-aggressive social split between people who use free weights and barbells and those who use the muscle "machines." The free weight/barbell guys are usually the more seasoned people with the action-movie-star physiques, while the muscle-machine people are more for the civilians in the audience, looking longingly at the action stars. This is what I listen to while watching those bronzed Sylvester-Stallone-Arnold-Schwarzenegger-Carl-Weathers type kings, creating a soundtrack to my own movies... jumping over obstacles! Killing the fat! Kissing the girl/guy! Eventually working over to the other side of the gym where the rest of my team plays...
